OVERVIEW & FORECAST

During the past 24 hours, solar activity was low. Five sunspot regions were on the visible disk with two C-class flares produced. Due to the effect of the coronal hole high speed stream, the solar wind speed maintained at about 550 km/s. The geomagnetic field reached active levels for 6 hours. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit maintained at minor storm levels.
